  the bible is chock full of information about the supernatural - ghosts, demons, spirits - and the list goes on.. the apostles, jesus, and god spoke of the supernatural.

  A lot of people refuse to believe in entities dwelling in other dimensions, in the same way as a lot of them have trouble with believing in us. . .

  True, in fact I think some of the "entities" from other dimensions are part of this board...

  what i really respect about it is it is no hollywood version of what happened on that day.

  there is sparse use of music to try to pump up your emotions.

  when my husband and i left the org back in sept. i felt that i had to tell my closest girl friend the reasons why we are no longer going to meetings.

  we sat down with her while her husband was out of town and told her many things we had discovered.

  so was so disturbed by this she couldnt wait for her husband to get home and share the "new light" with him.

  this time they really did call the police on me lol!

  they backed out though, they called, then canceled the call after a while and the police never came to charge me with recording them, pitty really.. http://www.quad-central.com/~dan2007.

  there is the link, i was unable to edit the audio file like i usually do to take out the blank spaces and amplify the volume, so if someone could do that with the wav file on the server that would be great!.

  i rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.

  a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.

  late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

  Ok, so I'm going to my first church service this Sunday.......

  i thought it appropriate that my 100th post be about the attending of my first "worldly" church service this sunday.

  it is at a friends methodist church.

  they are having an open house, so i thought it the best day to go.

  I live in L.A., but if I lived in Houston, I would go to the Lakewood Church where Joel Osteen is the minister. I catch him Sunday mornings on television (1/2 hr.) ... very inspirational, non-judgemental and humorous at times. You can go to his website and click on the Service LIVE or click on some past services. It's a good way to tip-your-toe-in-the-water, so to speak. Check out his website. Register, but don't worry about them inundating you with emails....it hasn't happened to me. They also list their t.v. schedule for your area.

  One last thing, keep searching, don't get discouraged.... you'll know when the Church is a right 'fit'.
